We who watch

Posted by pickypickyandme 5:55 pm Filed under: Uncategorized

What is it like to be gone?

To leave without saying good-bye?

To know that RIP is all there is?

“Rest in Peace?”

You’re gone, disappeared for ever!

There is no end to the “I could of’s”

But there is a light, a fraction of hope,

A game that all the children play,

Of who can run the farthest…

Of who can touch the sky…

Of who can forget…

But do we truly forget,

Or even forgive, the divine claim?

All the world is a stage,

But who watched the play?

Is it we who play,

For when we bore?

Or for them, who can barely move?

Maybe for all! Young and old,

For those who wish to reminisce.

Number 1 reason I hate my mom

Posted by pickypickyandme 2:03 pm Filed under: Uncategorized

Yes, well she said I had to write SOMETHING and my brother came up with an idea. Not my favorite, I most admit. What so what does my mom say? Good idea! Gah….. Fine here goes nothing…

I play Dungeons and Dragons with a group of five guys and two girls, including me. My characters always have some sort of magic or are evil. I created a bard this time! He was cool, perverted, and named Oucane. That meant there was one female character. Tat was fun, I must admit. Anyway, we’re chasing some ’shiny rock.’ The campaign starts and each of us are silently attacked by orcs. To be wierd, my character slept without armor on. So I survived two orcs, barely, and I feel like victory drink. One of the other characters has 40 gallons of ale. I asked for a glass, which I got. Ends up he posioned it! I spat the thing out and stole half of the remaining ale. I drunk it all the up and my brother looks at me.

“Roll a d20(20 sided die).”

I shrugged and rolled. A 1. He shakes his head. I drunk 20 gallons of ale! And I died… So EVERYONE starts laughing at me. Once they reached leval 2 I can coem back though. So, I hang out and wait for them to bring me back. They finally did. I ponder on whether or not to come back was a girl. I came back as Oucane, the perverted undead vampire!! More laughs from this, but I’m to far gone to mind now. I then bit a tiny goblin. now he is stronger then me. Kind annoying, but I can handle it.

That’s Oucana’s story. Care to hear his song?Keep in mind it was writen by the (female)elf!

A dead perverted man,

He was our best friend,

But he drank to much ale,

And now he’s dead as a rale!

He was reincarnated as a female!

I think he stole my underwear,

But oh well!

He turned into a vampire,

So now we’re all scared!

We all bought crucifixes,

So now he’s scared!

Another one? Alright…..

I croaked and I float,

Across the sea,

Dead as a rale,

And woe is me!!

Yep. We have so much fun with D&D!

Tithe

Posted by pickypickyandme 5:24 pm Filed under: Uncategorized

It’s a book. I know I’ve already done the book review(unless I haven’t…..), but this book was too good to put down! It is called Tithe and is by Holly Black. The back calls it a modern fairy tale, but I don’t think it’s quite like that. It is more about a girl who, when she was young, could see fairy. She moves away to New Jersey, but when she comes back the fairies join her. She is sweeped up in a war between the faries. It is awesome! I finished in less than 24 hours because it was so good. I’d say the reading level it about 12-13, but anyone above that will like it!
